As of Tuesday, Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection had inspected more than 15 million inbound and outbound travelers so far this year, up 9% year on year. On Aug. 9 alone, more than 82,000 travelers passed through Beijing's ports, the highest single day figure in nearly six years.
